Autumn Welcome

A new school year has started and we're settling back into familiar routines.  Even those of us who have no direct connection to school might notice the shift as Summer ends and Autumn begins.

There are a couple new changes to the work of church this year.  The first is that we're planning to replace the roof at St Thomas and will have some fundraising events in support of that project.  Look forward to music nights and other events in the hall that will not only help pay down the cost but also make good use of this amazing space we have.

The afterschool program is going to expand to include elementary school children where there is no commercial program in our area.  Please note that for children under the age of 12 we are a drop-in... not a drop-off.  There are just too many regulations to meet.

I am going to hold my personal Thanksgiving dinner at the St Thomas hall again this year as well.  It's a potluck, so bring something if you can, but there was lots of food last year so don't stress about it.

I look forward to seeing what this year brings for me personally, for the church, and for the community.

In Christ,
Rev Brian Curtis
