The seasons turn and as we move through winter into spring, work in the ministry is kicking into high gear.
We are finally getting a new roof this year. While much of the money has already been raised, we still have a bit more to go. Our main fundraiser is a monthly Variety Show. It's an open mic event with local musicians contributing what they know in a laid back and very social setting. We're to do this the 4th Sunday of each month, but check St Thomas' Facebook page for the exact date.
The afterschool program is continuing and we're always looking for new faces to join us, even for a day or two here and there. This is especially true if you're homeschooling and looking for social time or help with math or science.
I'm holding my personal Easter Dinner at the hall again. It's a potluck, and possible that it's passed by the time you read this. If there's interest in doing a community potluck that isn't attached to Christmas or Easter, let me know and we'll try and set something up.
I look forward to seeing what this year brings for me personally, for the church, and for the community.
In Christ,
Rev Brian Curtis
